Forest Policy, 2006

To promote sustainable development of forest resources in the state, Haryana Government has framed its own Forest Policy in 2006. This policy aim at increasing the forest and tree cover in the state from present 6.49% to 20% in a phased manner.

The basic objectives that govern the State Forest Policy, 2006 of Haryana are
